JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – National motorcycles sales (wholesales) in November 2015 dropped 11% to 535,682 622,089 units, 602,882 units in October 2015. Compared to November 2014 (582,331 units), the sales fell 8%.
According to data from the Indonesia Motorcycles Industry Association (AISI), motorcycles sales declined 18% to 5.96 million units in January-November 2015 period, from 7.31 million units in the same period of last year.
As at November 2015, Honda sold 4.1 million units of motorcycles (69% market share), followed by Yamaha 1.63 million units (27.3%), Kawasaki 109,925 units (1.84%), and Suzuki 103,745 units (1.74%).
