JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Transportation Ministry allocates Rp11.8 trillion for building 118 units of ship within next 3 years, Bisnis.com reported.
For this year, the ministry spends Rp3.3 trillion for building new ships. In 2016 and 2017, the ministry will spend Rp4.4 trillion and Rp4.1 trillion respectively.
The local shipyard builders have been offered to build new ships while state steel producer PT Krakatau Steel Tbk (KRAS) will supply its materials for ships construction.
