JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Attorney General Office (AGO) has today (Feb. 11) re-examined former Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR) Setya Novanto related to his scandalous meetings with businessman Muhammad Riza Chalid and former CEO of Freeport Indonesia Maroef Sjamsoeddin.
Novanto has still questioned by the AGO investigator in his capacity as a witness to the case. He was accompanied by his lawyer Firman Wijaya.
The Thursday’s questioning is the third examination session for the Head of Golkar Party faction at the DPR. Previously, Novanto has been questioned by the AGO investigator on February 10 and February 4, 2016.
In his testimony to the AGO, Novanto earlier denied that the voice in the recording provided by Maroef was his voice. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
