JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened higher 0.72% at 4629 this morning, while Asian stocks fluctuated.
Japan’s Nikkei share average fell to a one-week low on Thursday as a stronger yen hurt market sentiment, Reuters reported. The Nikkei dropped 1.1% by midmorning, after falling 3.2% on Wednesday.
Nymex’s crude oil gained 1.27% to US$32.69 per barrel in Asian trading and gold inched up 0.06% to US$1,142 per ounce.
Adaro Energy gained 2.6%, AKR Corporindo rose 3.53%, Bank Rakyat Indonesia increased 2.06%, Eagle High Plantation hiked 3.98%, Indofood Sukses lifted 2.44%, and Unilever Indonesia climbed 2.46%.
