JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – State coal miner PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) reported net profit of Rp497.63 billion in first quarter (Q1) of 2013, dropped 43% from Rp870.54 billion in the same period of 2012. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp215.
Sales declined 8% to Rp2.78 trillion from Rp3.02 trillion in Q1 of 2012. While cost of revenues increased to Rp1.82 trillion from previous Rp1.59 trillion.
Operating profit dropped 45% to Rp589.6 billion from Rp1.07 trillion in Q1 of 2012.
Its assets totaled Rp13.43 trillion while liability amounted Rp4.44 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp6.02 trillion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
