JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State construction firm PT Wijaya Karya Tbk (WIKA) won the tender for construction of Jakarta mass rapid transit (MRT), elevated railway connecting Lebak Bulus and Cipete.
The project costs 8.2 million yen and Rp1.9 trillion. WIKA partners with Tokyu contractor on this project. The construction will take 56 months.
Meanwhile state construction firm PT Adhi Karya Tbk (ADHI) is still waiting the license for working on Jakarta monorail project.
The monorail project will connect East Bekasi-Cawang, Cibubur-Cawang, and Cawang-Kuningan.
