JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Total E & P, through its subsidiary Total E&P Indonesia West Papua, plans to drill one exploration well in Anggrek Hitam – 1x field in Southwest Bird’s Head block, located in west Papua.
In this block, Total controls 90% and the remaining 10 % is held by PT Indika Energy. Total will commence drilling well in Aggrek Hitam-1x field in fourth week of this month.
Total said a drilling rig, swamp barge ‘Maera’, has been delivered from East Kalimantan. The drilling will take 2 months. (ferdi@yosefardi.com)
