SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – For the month of January 2014, Tigerair Singapore recorded an 11.6% y-o-y increase in traffic to 806 million RPK, while capacity increased by 30.3% to 1,126 million ASK.
Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor declined by 12.0 percentage points to 71.6%. The number of passengers carried grew by 13.3% y-o-y to 434,000.
Tigerair Mandala recorded a 139.1% y-o-y increase in traffic to 263 million RPK for January 2014, while capacity increased by 121.4% to 383 million ASK. Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor improved by 5.1 percentage points to 68.7%. The number of passengers carried grew by 98.8% y-o-y to 169,000.
While Tigerair Philippines recorded a 27.9% y-o-y increase in traffic to 142 million RPK last month, while capacity increased by 8.9% to 172 million ASK. Consequently, y-o-y passenger load factor improved by 12.3 percentage points to 82.6%. The number of passengers carried grew by 18.6% y-o-y to 134,000.
