JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Popular Mayor of Surabaya Tri Rismaharini is awarded the 2015 Bung Hatta Anti-Corruption Award for her commitment to fight against corruption in the capital city of East Java province.
Other than Risma, the award is also dedicated to the Regent of Batang Yoyok Riyo Sudibyo in a ceremonial event held at the Financial Club, Graha Niaga, Jakarta, last night (Nov. 5).
Present in the event were the Governor of Jakarta Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama, Chief of the President Staff Office Teten Masduki, and former Deputy Chief of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Busyro Muqoddas.
Risma is now seeking for her second term as Mayor of Surabaya. She and her running mate Wishnu Sakti Buan will compete with Rasiyo and his running mate Lucy Kurniasari in a local election to be held on December 9, 2015. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
