JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Police Commissioner General Suhardi Alius has been sworn in Friday (Dec. 6) as new Chief of National Police Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim).

The inauguration was held at the National Police’s headquarter in Trunojoyo, South Jakarta.

Born in Jakarta on May 10, 1962, Suhardi was graduated from the Police Academy in 1985. Prior to be appointed as new Chief of National Police Criminal Investigation Division, Suhardi took several strategic positions such as the Chief of West Java Police (2013), the Spokesperson of the National Police (from 2012 to 2013) and Deputy Chief of the Jakarta Police (from 2011 to 2012).

In the meantime, National Police Chief General Sutarman has also sworn in Brig. Gen. Mochamad Iriawan as new Chief of West Java Police replacing Suhardi Alius. While Brig. Gen. Moechgiarto, Deputy Chief of East Java Police, was appointed as new Chief of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police replacing Mochamad Iriawan.

Ins. Gen. Anton Bachrul Alam, meanwhile, was sworn in as new Chief of National Police General Supervision Inspectorate (Irwasum). (haryantos@yosefardi.biz)
