JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – The Oil and Gas Executive Task Force (SKK Migas) has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Land Agency (BPN) to speed up the certificate process and handle problems of land assets in oil and gas upstream sector.
The MoU was signed by SKK Migas’ head Rudi Rubiandini and BPN’s head Hendarman Supandji in Jakarta, Friday (April 26).
The MoU aims to provide legal certainty by giving priority to the Ministry on the implementation of certificate and handling problems of land managed by SKK Migas. The upstream oil and gas industry is a strategic activity for the national interest.
BPN will conduct training, monitoring, an evaluation, and other actions in order to implement this MoU. (ferdi@theindonesiatoday.com)
