JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Financing company PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) booked net profit of Rp1.57 trillion in 2012, declined 19% from Rp1.94 trillion in 2011.
Revenues fell 7.5% to Rp17.52 trillion, from previous Rp18.95 trillion. Revenues from insurance underwriting totaled Rp12.39 trillion.
Expenses of insurance underwriting amounted Rp12.98 trillion while total expense was Rp15.86 trillion.
As of December 2012, its assets totaled Rp48.79 trillion while liability amounted Rp32.54 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp7.01 trillion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
