JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – State cement producer PT Semen Gresik Tbk (SMGR) booked net profit of Rp1.23 trillion in first quarter (Q1) of 2013, grew by 21% from Rp1.02 trillion in corresponding period of 2012. Earning per share (EPS) was Rp208.
Revenues increased 29% to Rp5.54 trillion from Rp4.28 trillion in Q1 of 2012. Cement sales totaled Rp5.43 trillion of which Rp1 trillion sales derived from related parties.
Operating profit was Rp1.61 trillion, higher than Rp1.02 trillion in Q1 of 2012.
SMGR’s assets totaled Rp27.61 trillion while liability amounted Rp8.19 trillion. It has cash and cash equivalent of Rp3.29 trillion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
