JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono has signed an instruction to extend forest moratorium.
“I have signed the instruction. Let’s manage the forest in a sustainable fashion,” said SBY through his Twitter account @sbyudhoyono 12 hours ago.
Under the new presidential instruction, moratorium on new licenses in primary natural forest and peat lans is extended for two more years.
SBY signed the first moratorium two years ago through President Instruction No 10/2011.
