LONDON (Yosefardi) – Salamander Energy reported that development of Kerendan field in Indonesia is continued with the drilling and completion of four producing wells in Kerandan reservoir.

The development wells are being acidized and tested. To date the well have been tested at combined rate of 40 MMSCFD, demonstrating the reservoir can confortably deliver in excess of 20 MMSCFD daily contracted Quantity (DCQ ) in the current gas agreement with buyer PLN.

The filed is forecast to come on stream in mid 2014. Gas pricing and volume are the subject of on going discussions between the buyer PLN, Salamander and Indonesian regulatory Body.

During 1Q, 2013, the group secured strategic partner for Bangkanai PSC by agreeing to farm out a 30 % interest to PT Saka Energy, the upstream affiliate of PGN.(ferdi@yosefardi.com)
