JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Brig. Gen. Royke Lumowa has just been promoted as the new Chief of the West Papua Police replacing Brig. Gen. Paulus Waterpaw, who has just been appointed as the new Chief of the Papua.
The appointment is based on the so-called Telegram Rahasia (TR), a secret letter, from the Chief of the National Police No. ST/195/VII/2015 dated July 30, 2015.
Prior to the appointment, Royke served as one of deputy assistants at the Coordinating Ministry of Politics, Law & Security Affairs. He was born in Manado, North Sulawesi, on Sep. 16, 1962.
Royke has a lot of experiences in handling traffics in big cities in Central Java, East Java, North Sumatra, and his hometown North Sulawesi. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
