JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped 1.73% to 4647 Wednesday (July 3rd) morning on negative sentiment from the region.
Fears over China slowdown dragged down Hang Seng Index 2.05%, while All Ordinaries conceded 2.11%. Shanghai composite lost 1.47%, while STI Index down 1.1%. KOSPI and Nikkei 225 also slipped 1.12% and 0.6% respectively.
In Jakarta, bell weather Astra International slipped 0.75%, while BCA and BRI fell sharply by 3.5% and 3.2% respectively. Bank Mandiri also down 2.34%, while Telkom and Unilever slipped 1.4% and 0.67% respectively.
Semen Indonesia and Lippo Karawaci fell more than 5% each, while Media Nusantara Citra down 4.03%.
