SINGAPORE (Yosefardi) – Ramba Energy Limited has commenced the deepening of the JRR-1 production well at 1000 hours on 5 July 2013 at Jatirarangon TAC located in Java, Indonesia.
The JRR-1 well currently has a total depth of 5,250 feet, and will be deepened to a total depth of approximately 8,900 feet.
The deepening of the JRR-1 well is targeting the Talang Akar and Baturaja Formation. The Company had discovered oil in the Baturaja Formation in 2011 during the JRR-3 ST Workover.
The Company expects drilling operations to take approximately 15 days, with an additional 10 days for completion and testing.
