JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareksrim POLRI) has named Nina Nurlina Pramono, former executive director of Pertamina Foundation, as graft suspect related to the 100 million tree planting program organized by the foundation, Thursday (Sep. 3).

Both chief of the Bareskrim Polri Comr. Gen. Budi Waseso and Bareksrim POLRI’s director for special economy crimes Victor Simanjuntak confirmed the Police’s decision on naming Nina as suspect in the case.

In separate place, Pertamina CEO Dwi Soetjipto stated that Nina has retired from the Pertamina Foundation since early this year.

As reported earlier, the Police has raided the office of Pertamina Foundation on Wednesday (Sep. 2) whereas they seized a truck of documents and evidences. According to Victor, from the documents the Police seized, Pertamina Foundation spent hundreds of billions of rupiah from the Pertamina’s CSR fund to finance said 100 million tree planting program.

Nina Nurlina Pramono was one of 19 candidates of the Corruption Eradication Commission’s (KPK) commissioners passing to the final stage of the selection process. Nina, however, failed to joint to the shortlist of eight candidates of KPK’s commissioners submitted by the selection committee to President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo today.
