JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Taking place at Bina Graha building in the compex of State Palace Jakarta, Wednesday (Sep. 2) afternoon, Chief of the National Police Gen. Badrodin Haiti had a meeting with Coordinating Minister for Politics, Law & Security affairs Gen. (ret) Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan.
The meeting occurred on the rumor about the dismissal of Comr. Gen. Budi Waseso from his position as Chief of the National Police’s Criminal Investigation Division (Bareskrim POLRI).
Badrodin, however, denied that his meeting with Luhut was about said rumor of Budi Waseso’s dismissal. He told the press that they discussed other issues.
Badrodin, moreover, stated that there is no decision yet on the change of the Bareskrim Chief.
In separate place, Budi Waseso also denied the rumor and stressed that he’s remain the Chief of the Bareskrim POLRI. The three-star police general has lead the Bareskrim since Jan. 19, 2015. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
