PLN electricity sales last year grew by 11.3% compared to Rp114.06 trillion in 2011. Sales to household segment reached Rp45.81 trillion, industry Rp42.92 trillion, and business segment Rp26.93 trillion.
Sales to Java and Bali area totaled Rp11 trillion, and expected to increase to Rp13 trillion this year.
PLN needs fund of Rp64.3 trillion for this year operation cost, funded by loan (Rp48.1 trillion), state budget Rp10.1 trillion, and PLN’s internal cash Rp6.1 trillion. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
