SURABAYA (Indonesia Today) – PT PAL Indonesia (Persero) said it schedules to complete the construction of 2 oil tankers with capacity of 17.500 dead weight ton (DWT) ordered by PT Pertamina in December 2012, Bisnis.com reported.

Muhammad Firmansyah Arifin, PAL’s president director, said the tanker construction costs US$25 million per unit.

He said Pertamina orders 2 tankers to PAL, one tanker is scheduled to complete construction in December 2012 and another is targeted to finish construction in March 2013.

PAL also has capacity to construct warship, landing craft utility (LCU), and landing craft vehicle personal (LCVP). (ferdi@theindonesiatoday.com)
