MUARA ENIM (Yosefardi) – State oil and gas company PT Pertamina and PPT Plc Thailand will build petrochemical plant in Balongan refinery area by end of this year.
In the first phase, both companies will build factory with capacity of 1 million tons of prophylene with invesment cost of US$1 billion. While total investment fot the projects is agreed at US$4-5 billion.
The construction of first phase plant will take 3-4 years. (ferdi@yosefardi.com)
