KUALA LUMPUR (Yosefardi) – The benchmark March 2014 contracts of crude palm oil (CPO) declined further by RM25 to RM2579 per ton on Bursa Malaysia derivatives this morning.
April 2014 contracts also down RM24 to RM2586 per ton after significant drop on Monday.
Responding the downfall, Astra Agro Lestari (AALI), the largest palm oil producer on IDX, opened lower by 3.63% this morning, while BW Plantation down 1.15%.
In Singapore, First Resources lost another 1.91%, while Wilmar International down 0.6%. In Kuala Lumpur, Felda Global Ventures, the world’s largest palm oil producer, declined 0.45%.
