JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) revealed that November 2013 inflation was 0.12%, compared to 0.09% in previous month, resulting in year-on-year inflation of 8.37% and year-to-date inflation of 7.79%.
Processed food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco contributed 0.27% inflation. Housing, water, electricity, gas, fuel contributed 0.68%.
Health contributed 0.34%, education, recreation, and sport contributed 0.11%, and transportation, communication, financial services were responsible for 0.02% inflation.
While stapple foods and clothing recorded 0.47% deflation and 0.03% deflation each.
Off 66 cities, 38 cities recorded inflation, highest occurred at Maumere, and 28 cities recorded deflation, highest at Sorong.
