JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM) Sudirman Said has asked the House of Representatives’ Ethics Council (MKD DPR) to play recordings of conversation between the House Speaker Setya Novanto, businessman Reza Chalid, and leader of PT Freeport Indonesia in the first Novanto’s ethics trial, Wednesday (Dec. 2).
On the Wednesday’s trial, Sudirman also provided full recordings of wiretap plus – its transcript – that he asked the MKD to play in the trial this afternoon.
The trial has just been started since around 1:15 pm of local time. On the tume of writing, Sudirman has still testified in the first Novanto’s ethics trial.
Previously, Sudirman reported Novanto, who is also a politician from Golkar Party, to the MKD for allegedly abusing his power by promising a favor to PT Freeport Indonesia. Novanto allegedly asked for Freeport’s shares. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.
