JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – New player in property business PT Marindo Surya plans to build hotels and condominium (kondotel), Bisnis Indonesia reported this morning.
Sugiyanto, Marindo assistant director, said the company is now building 3-star hotel (Quest Hotel)with 12 floors in central Surabaya which cost Rp65 billion. Quest hotel is built near the existing hotel named Mirama Mercure.
He said the company, owned by Sugiarto Alim, son of Alim Markus who is founder of Maspion Group, partners with Aston International to become the operator of hotel.
Marindo, Sugiyanto added, also plans to build hotel in Semarang, Badung and Bali this year. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
