JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – State bank Mandiri (BMRI), the largest bank by total assets, has returned to fourth largest company on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) by market capitalization.

As of Friday, June 14, 2013, Bank Mandiri had market capitalization of Rp220.5 trillion, inches above consumer goods giant Unilever Indonesia (Rp220.1 trillion).

Telkom Indonesia (TLKM), meanwhile, dropped to 6th with market cap of Rp212.7 trillion due to substantial correction in the past two weeks.

Mandiri gained 16.7% year-to-date, while Unilever jumped 38.4% and Telkom gained 16.6%. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) is 7th largest with market cap of Rp194 trillion and 12.9% gain year-to-date.

The Top Three are still HM Sampoerna (Rp361.6 trillion), Astra International (Rp285.4 trillion), and Bank Central Asia (Rp241.6 trillion). Completing the Top 10 are Perusahaan Gas Negara (Rp128.5 trillion), Semen Indonesia (Rp104.4 trillion), and Gudang Garam (Rp95 trillion).
