JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is expected today (Feb. 1) to examined Budi Supriyanto, a lawmaker from Golkar Party at the House of Representatives (DPR), in his capacity as a witness to the bribery case involving Damayanti Wisnu Putranti, a lawmaker from PDI-P.

This is the second call from the KPK to Budi. Previously, Budi failed to answer the KPK’s first call last week.

Both Budi and Damayanti are members of the DPR Commission V, which overseeing transportation, public works, and public housing.

In this case, KPK has named Damayanti and three other people as suspects. They are Julia Prasetyarini, Dessy A. Edwin, and director of PT Windu Tunggal Utama (WTU) Abdul Khoir. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
