JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani publicly stated that the Red-and-White opposition group (KMP), by the facto, already dissolved following the decision of its members to jump ship to support Jokowi-Kalla administration.
Muzani, however, said that his party will continue opposing the administration though they might lose in the voting in the House of Representatives (DPR).
Initially, the KMP opposition group consisted of 6 political parties (Gerindra, Golkar, Democratic Party, PAN, PKS, and PPP) that controlled majority of DPR’s seats.
But in the development, Democratic Party decided to became a non-bloc axis. While PPP, PAN, and Golkar jumped ship to support Jokowi-Kalla administration. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
