JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT reported cellular revenues grew by 13.7% in second half of 2013, supported by users growth which totaled 56.5 million and increase usage of phone calls, SMS, and data.
Average revenue per unit (ARPU) increased 5.4%, mainly supported by increase usage of data services. Indosat booked cellular revenues of Rp9.57 trillion in second half of this year, compared to Rp8.42 trillion in the same period of last year.
While non cellular revenues increased 16.3% to Rp2.14 trillion. As expenses also rose 18.9% to Rp10.5 trillion, the Indosat’s
operating profit declined 15.5% to Rp1.19 trillion. ISAT’s debt totaled Rp20.29 trillion.
