JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Indofood CBP Sukses Makmur Tbk (ICBP) expects its revenue to only grow by 5-10% this year, compared to 19.63% growth last year. Earlier the company targets a double digit growth in revenue for this year but its sales only grew by 6.62% in first half period.
ICBP booked revenue of Rp16.55 trillion in the first half of this year, compared to Rp15.52 trillion in the same period of 2014. In 2014, ICBP recorded revenue of Rp30.02 trillion, compared to Rp25.09 trillion in 2013.
Werianty Setiawan, ICBP’s director said the slowing growth of revenue is due to weak purchasing power of people.
