JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower this morning but has regained 0.1% to 4737.

Astra International gained 1.47%, Charoen Pokphand rose 1.1%, Jasa Marga hiked 1.28%, Multipolar lifted 1.97%, Hanson International climbed 2.5%, and Garuda Indonesia increased 2.17%.

Asian shares sputtered on Thursday as U.S. Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen’s tone of guarded optimism led to an indecisive finish for Wall Street and further weakness for the dollar, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil fell 1.97% to US$26.91 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold rose 1.16% to US$1,208.50 per ounce.
