JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened lower 0.2% at 5216 this morning following regional markets

Asian shares got off on the back foot on Monday after an uninspiring session on Wall Street, Reuters reported.

Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.67% to US$92.41 per barrel in Asian trading and gold fell 0.29% to US$1,219.80 per ounce.

Lippo Karawaci fell 0.96%, Telkom down 0.68%, Astra International slipped 0.68%, Bank Negara Indonesia slashed 0.86%, and Waskita Karya lost 1.1%.

While Bumi Resources, Adaro Energy, Bank Mandiri, and Bumi Serpong Damai gained. Investors are awaiting the new cabinet formation of Jokowi-Kalla government.
