JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) opened down 0.02% at 4274 this morning as investors opted to take profit in certain stocks after yesterday’s gains. Regional markets were also in red zone.

Astra International declined 0.76%, Bumi Serpong Damai lost 1.44%, Indika Energy dropped 3%, Jababeka fell 2.4%, and Perusahaan Gas Negara shed 1%.

Among gainers were Lippo Karawaci (+1.12%), Wijaya Karya (+0.6%), Aneka Tambang (+0.79%), and Adaro Energy (+0.8%).

Nymex’s crude oil inched up 0.03% to US$98.54 per barrel in Asian trading this morning while gold fell 0.19% to US$1,258.70 per ounce.
