JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Speaker of the the House of Representatives (DPR) Setya Novanto, who is also a politician from the Golkar Party, is expected to meet VP Jusuf Kalla at the Vice President office this afternoon (Nov. 16).
VP Kalla confirmed to the press that it is Novanto who asked him to meet this afternoon.
Kalla and Novanto, however, have not yet revealed about the issues they will be discussed in said meeting.
Interestingly, Novanto earlier this morning stated that he has never utilized President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo and VP Kalla’s names related to the talk of contract extension of PT Freeport Indonesia.(haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
