JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Hanson International Tbk (MYRX) has acquired 2 property firms, PT Binadaya Wiramaju and PT De Petroleum International, based in Tangerang and Maja, Banten province.
Hanson once wanted to become a major energy player, but later on divested most of the assets. Now the Company wants to become a giant property player.
It has some projects, including Citra Maja Raya (2400 hectares in Banten province), Bekasi (310 hectares), Millennium City in Serpong (850 hectares), and Cengkareng Land (180 hectares) as aero city.
Hanson works with Ciputra Group in Citra Maja Raya and Tan Kian (Dua Mutiara Group) in Millennium City.
Earlier, MYRX’s president director Benny Tjokrosaputro said the Company allocates Rp2 trillion fund for acquiring land. It targets to boost its land bank to 4000 hectares from current 3200 hectares.
