JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Mount Gamalama erupted again on Sunday (September 16) to spew lava and ash on Ternate in North Maluku province, eastern part of Indonesia.

National Agency for Disaster Management (BNPB) said the volcano was first erupted at 13.22 East Indonesia Time (EIT). The second was at 14.15 EIT, spewing ash to as high as 1,000 meters to the southeast.
