JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – Four new high ranking officers have been sworn in at the ministry of defense Friday (August 24).
The new officers are Hartind Asrin as expert staff of minister of defense, Agus Purwoto as director general for defense forces, Timbul Siahaan as expert staff for social issues of minister of defense, and Anne Kusmayanti as expert staff for technology and industry.
Hartind was head of public information center at the defense ministry. Hartind replaces Maj General (ret) Zeanal Fahri Tamziz, who enters mandatory retirement age.
