JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 815,100 in June 2015, declined 4.27% from 851,500 in June 2014. Compared to May 2015, the figure rose 2.73%.
Total foreign tourists went to Bali, one of the most attractive places in Indonesia, through Ngurah Rai Airport, in June 2015 amounted 357,700 tourists, grew by 8.51% from 329,700 tourists in June 2014. Compared with May 2015, the number jumped 24.58%.
In the first half of 2015, foreign tourists visiting Indonesia totaled 4.66 million tourists, grew by 2.34% from 4.55 million in the same period of 2014.
The number of tourists stayed in star hotels in 27 provinces reached an average number of 54.14% in June 2015, down 1.26 points compared to June 2014 (55.40%). Compared to May 2015, the figure increased 0.42 points.
Both domestic and international tourists on average stayed in the star hotels for around 2.20 days in June 2015, up 0.34 points compared to June 2014.
