JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – What a race! Exit polls from various agencies pointed to Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo as the winner of Jakarta gubernatorial election held Thursday (Sept 20).
Quick counts from Indobarometer-MetroTV, LSI-TV One, Puskaptis-JakTV, Kompas.com, and SMRC all pointed to Jokowi as the winner of the election.
From 98.29% samples of LSI-TVOne poll, Jokowi gets 53.74%, while incumbent governor Fauzi Bowo grabs 26.26%.??
Kompas Research, division of the largest newspaper Kompas, found Jokowi winning 53.26% votes, while Fauzi 46.74%.??
Puskaptis-JakTV: Jokowi 51.94%, Fauzi 48.06%
Inrobarometer-MetroTV: Jokowi 54.36%, Fauzi 45.64%.??
