JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi (Emtek) Tbk (EMTK), controlled by Sariaatmadja family, had invested in PT Surya Cipta Medikam (SCM) engaged in health and hospital business, partnered with other two parties with a balance ownership.
EMTK is parent company of Surya Citra Media (SCMA), which controls SCTV and Indosiar TV stations.
EMTK said the fund invested in SCM will be used to acquire assets of Usada Insani hospital, operated in Tangeran, Banten province, with 350 units of bads.
The capital investment in SCM is a first phase of realizing long term investment on health and hospital industry.
EMTK does not disclose the value of investment in SCM but said the investment is not viewed as material transaction.
