JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – The Secretary General of the House of Representatives (DPR) Winantuningtyastiti has been questioned for 7 hours on Thursday (Feb. 4) by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in her capacity as a witness to the a bribery scandal involving PDI-P lawmaker Damayanti Wisnu Putranti.
The KPK earlier also questioned Hediyanto W. Husaini, the Public Works & Public Housing (PUPR) Ministry’s director general for Highways Department (Bina Marga), as another witness to the case.
The KPK has named Damayanti and three other people as suspects in this case. They are Abdul Khoir, director of PT Windu Tunggal Utama (WTU), Julia Prasetyarini and Dessy A. Edwin.
The KPK alleged Damayanti for receiving bribe from Abdul related to an infrastructure project at the PUPR Ministry. (haryantosuharman@yosefardi.com)
