STUTTGART (Indonesia Today) – Daimler AG, a German multinational automotive corporation, has chosen India, Indonesia, and Thailand as the first assembly locations of the SUV model series for the new Mercedes-Benz M and GL-Class outside the SUV parent plant in Alabama, US.
The final assembly of SKD kits for Daimler will soon to start in India while Thailand and Indonesian plants will follow later on in 2012. The kits are produced in Tuscaloosa, Alabama prepared for shipping and sent to the final plants.
