JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Private toll road operator PT Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada Tbk (CMNP) will propose the 10% years extension for toll road concession in Jakarta Urban Tollroad (JIUT).
The company will invest additional Rp3.6 trillion on JIUT, then the agreement will be adjusted. CMNP plans to propose the widening of toll roads in 4 bottleneck; Cawang junction, Tanjungan Priok bend, Jembatan Tiga, and Pluit.
Curently the traffics in JIUT reach 590,000 vehicles per day. After the widening of toll roads, the JIUT can accomodate traffics of up to 650,000 vehicles.
Toll Road Regulatory Body (BPJT) will raise toll tariff for in Jakarta city by 10%, effective December 6, 2013. BJPT will also this month raise toll tariff for Semarang-Solo Section One and Kanci-Penjaga sections.
