HONG KONG (Yosefardi) – Cathay Pacific Airways Limited reported an attributable profit of HK$1.97 billion for the first six months of 2015, jumped 468% comparing to a profit of HK$347 million in the first half of 2014.

The Group’s passenger revenue decreased by 0.8% to HK$36,226 million. Despite an increase in passenger and cargo capacity of 6.4% and 8.9% respectively.

The Indonesian routes were weak, but their performance improved slightly from last year. In January, Cathay Pacific increased the Jakarta service from 21 to 26 flights a week.
