JAKARTA, (Indonesia Today) – State coal miner PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) has signed a joint venture agreement with China Huadian (Hongkong) Company Limited.
The JV, named PT Huadian Bukit Asam Power, is based in Muara Enim, South Sumatra. The JV aims to develop a mine-mouth Coal Fired Power Plant (PLTU) in Central Bangko.
Bukit Asam holds 45% interest in the JV while the rest owned by China Hudian.
