JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – Graha Layar Prima (BLTZ), operator of Blitz cinema, targets to build 8 cinemas this year funded by Rp650.48 billion proceeds from issuing 99.31 million new shares or 22.73% of its enlarged capital, priced at Rp6550 per share. The Company will also pay debt of Rp250 billion.
South Korea-based Cheil Jedang Golden Village absorbed 50.64 million BLTZ new shares valuing of Rp331.74 billion. Cheil Jedang’s ownership in BLTZ then increased to 22.99%. Other shareholders are Layar Persada (48.25%), IKT Holdings Ltd (11.4%), and public (17.35%).
As at March 2016, BLTZ’s assets reached Rp842 billion while liability amounted Rp375.6 billion. Its equity was Rp466.4 billion. The company suffered loss of Rp16.4 billion in first quarter of 2016 on revenues of Rp113 billion. In first quarter of 2015, BLTZ suffered loss of Rp12.17 billion on revenues of Rp69.46 billion.
