JAKARTA (Indonesia Today) – PT Bhakti Investama (BHIT) Tbk, an investment holding controlled by Tanoesoedibjo family, has entered into infrastructure business, by setting up PT MNC Infrastruktur thorugh its unit PT Indonesia Air Transport Tbk (IATA).

MNC Infrastruktur Utama focuses on toll road, airport, sea port, and power plant projects.

Harry Tanoesoedibjo, BHIT’s CEO, said currently MNC Infrastruktur is working on sea port for coal transportation in East Kalimantan with investment cost of US$12 million.

He said the project in East Kalimantan is targeted to finish in mid of 2013. (hans@theindonesiatoday.com)
