JAKARTA (Yosefardi) – PT Bank Syariah Mandiri (BSM) booked net profit of Rp255.6 billion in first quarter of 2013, grew by 32.63% compared to Rp192.72 billion in the same period of 2012.
Margin income and sharing profit increased 18.69% to Rp1.27 trillion from previous Rp1.07 trillion. BSM’s financing also rose 23.56% to Rp46.26 trillion, of which 73.16% of financing was disbursed to non corporate and micro-small-medium sectors.
The bank’s assets totaled Rp55.48 trillion while third party funds amounted Rp48.38 trillion. Its equity reached Rp4.44 trillion.
